I read a lot less this year. I guess maybe still more than most, more than a book a week, but far far less than prior years. So, that should make it a lot easier to rate my favorites of the year, but I'm not so sure. I'll do my best though to summarize a few of the favorites and of course, the books that you can certainly skip.
